I think they carry it over. One thing that Fresno has been doing throughout the postseason is beating the **** out of people, then coming back and beating the **** out of the next team, in some cases the same team.

Then Ron Polk won't be able to say "I told you so".

This will be the 5th game they've played in 5 days. I don't think they'll have the pitching depth to match UGA.

I thought coming back from the heartbreaking loss of Game 1 would have been too hard but that did that and more. This Fresno State team has a ton of passion and heart, you just can't keep them down. They've lost two heartbreakers in the CWS and bounced back to beat the same team the very next day in each case, and each of those wins were decisive. This will be an interesting game.

As far as the pitching issue goes, they were at far more of a disadvantage last night. Last night really set up well for UGA, but this Fresno team just isn't going to quit. I would count tonight as a total toss up.</p>

that this is the first time in the ch'ip series that Fresno will start a regular starter. Said they've used relievers so far just to eat up innings. It's setting up for them. Perno and the UGA players were visibly shaken and frustrated last night. Beckham is having deja vu.

both teams went though a lot of pitching yesterday, so I expect tonight's contest to be offensive. UGA will win that battle.

Bonus prediction: Coach34 starts a thread about a weak SEC team winning the CWS.

Fresno has been throwing some of their weakest pitchers and yet GA was lucky to win the first game. I believe Fresno, at this time right now, is the best team in Omaha. I think their side of the bracket was tougher and I think they win it tonight. Their losses have been a late inning 4-3 loss to UNC who they beat 2 of 3 and a late inning 7-6 loss to UGA who they play for best 2 of 3 tonight. The biggest advantage GA has is their closer so if they can get a lead around the 7th or 8th I doubt Fresno can come back. But I'm thinking Fresno will have the lead before then. I think a 4 regional seed going all the way to a National Championship would be one of the best stories in college sports I've seen in quite a while.
