Buy/Sell. If Mullen were hired away at end of '12 season. You would hire Tressel.

I expected to see mostly sells, which tells me OSU might be better off because of this. Everyone is acting like the job is radioactive now, but its still a Top 5 job. They may get hit with a few years of sanctions, but they could make the right and be better off without Tressel.
great job overall, but right now it is radioactive. no coach currently successful at a moderately sized program is gonna take the ohio st job. they'll talk about how they will understand some down years while they weather the ncaa penalties that are coming, but after a 5-7 season or 2 the fanbase is gonna forget all about how understanding they pretended to be in 2011 and start demanding more Ws and there won't be any scholarship relief coming their way for a few more years. <div>
</div><div>i think they need to hope fickle shows enough this year to just ride out the probation (cheap, ex-player), and if he emerges from the other side intact and with decent results, maybe he gets a season or 2 to really run the program. if not then they are in much better shape to lure a successful coach to columbus without penalties hanging over his head. </div><div>
</div><div>there are at least 20 jobs i'd gladly take over ohio st until i see what the ncaa does: bama, uga, fla, tenn, lsu, aub, tex, a&m, okla, ucla, oregon, penn st, michigan, wisconsin, iowa, neb, f$u, miami, ND, at least, and that's just the bigger named programs and not even accounting for programs like okla st or washington or ark or south carolina or msu or some others without the history.</div>
