I get the feeling that if he feels like Raffo is not getting the job, he may try to pull his resignation and stay on the job. Just give it another month, and I think it may escalate to that. Question is what legal grounds he has, and whether or not he is able to pull his resignation at this point without having to technically be re-hired.
If he's technically able to pull his resignation anytime this season, it'll be interesting to see if Byrne chooses to fire him instead.
