and by noticeably different I mean, we see different formations, plays or offensive philosophy (deep throws, throws on first down, etc.), not necessarily offensive output.

Croom is too damn conservative and too damn committed to the WCO to make any significant, noticeable changes. The only difference will probably be a few less play action sacks and pick 6's.

I would much prefer us be able to control the LOS and handle business without a new offense for the first two weeks.

This is my time to be wooly (before the first game). I say he opens it up and tries to make a statement that MSU will be no patsy this year. He'll put a smackdown on Tech in the first half. Then use the second half like a NFL preseason game. We'll be mixing it up a lot more this year and won't be so conservative........if not, it'll be the same ole same ole praying that the defense keeps us in games and praying for the ever elusive TD. If we get beat in northern LA, I'll be so pissed that I might start agreeing with the rubberman. But for now.....buy.

Sherrod's blister will be Croom's primary excuse as to why we couldn't or wouldn't do anything experimental.

we will do enough to get ahead and then do enough to run the clock and limit La Tech's possessions. We just want a W without tipping what little we have in our hand. Run, run, run, run.

I'm sorry if winning is not not enough to keep some folks entertained.
