If Tennessee starts the season 3-3 (L's - Florida, Auburn, UGA), Fulmer is fired mid season.

but a loss to Bama <del>or Florida</del> in addition to those losses you listed will get him fired mid-season.

<font size="2">Edit: Florida is already one of the L's listed by OP.</font>

He has lasted through tougher times than losing to 3 possibly top ten teams before. If he drops a fourth one and is 2-4 at that point, well thats a whole nother' story.</p>

I think he would have to start 2-5 (with the losses you mention plus at UCLA and at MSU) to be fired midseason. I don't think that will happen.

I've got to agree with davatron.

It looks to me like three early SEC losses are likely for UT. However, in my predictions (like many of yours) I see them getting hot due to an easy schedule after the mid point of the season. However, a loss to Bama, MSU, or Vandy could put their fans over the edge and cost Phatty.

I doubt it would be a midseason thing though....so Sell.

I see them losing all 3 of those games, and also UCLA (I just don't see them going out there and beating them), to start 2-4. Then it's all on our shoulders to nail in the coffin.

He may "resign" or "retire" but I don't see an official firing during the season.

for a Crooming is that it had to be totally unexpected. For instance, if we beat LSU and then they fire Les Miles at least in part because we beat them.

I just thought Crooming as a loss to Mississippi State that was the straw that broke the camels back for a head football coach....

He has never been a spectacular coach but always recruited well. Now his recruiting is starting to fail him. They have very little depth on the defense and it will only get worse next year.

UT has steadily gone down since we stole Woody.</p>
