If we want to keep good coaches, then it's up to the fans/boosters to pony up money so that we can pay them. If we provide the money, the facilities, salaries and tools will be in place to retain our coaches.
but if he leaves us one day, it will be because he's done a damn good job here and it's time for a new challenge. I don't see him ever leaving us high and dry.
message to Polk and Raffo. Cohen mentioned several times the "moves" that he's made in establishing himself to be in a position to be selected for this job. Polk thinking it was a family business and that he was just going to hand it down to his chosen successor. You gotta' move around some to get qualified. The worthwhile jobs don't just come to you based on loyalty....you gotta' go get 'em. I hope Tommy Raffo understands that now. He's still young enough to move up.
