Well, he didn't transfer there because he doesn't like getting yelled at. If he did, he made a very, very bad mistake.

I suspect this was about playing time and/or maybe getting cut.

I expect several more moves after reading the interview with Cohen and him stating he will sign between 14 and 20 players, that says it all.

After reading about Cohen's work habits and thoughts, I had no idea he was so organized and driven as a coach, no doubt he coaches like he played, all out with a chip on his shoulders. I have been really impressed up to this point, GB was right on the target saying it was a no brainer in hiring Cohen. What a staff he has put together!

the one thing he is really good at, and you wouldn't think it by looking at him, is defense. He had some power in high school, and was a pretty clutch hitter there, but it was like he just never could get going at MSU.

If he can figure it out, he could be a good pick up for DSU, but if he can't, you're right- he won't crack their starting lineup.

then that tells you two things.... how our past coaches did not do their job and that Kinninson is an oustanding coach..... which he is.

I do agree we have recruited some players that were not SEC caliber.. and that Coach Cohen will be finding his best 35 to wear the maroon and white.

Go dawgs!

Ahh, fine and good and everything, but you might want to get a prenuptial just in case.

I don't think we're going to need to see Cade Hoggard do well at DSU to know that our past coaches weren't doing there jobs.

But you're right, we could include that in the lack of coaching file.

Multiple back surgeries tend to curtail having a great career. Hopefully Kinnison helps him find his offensive stroke and he helps take them to another national championship.

Or it could just mean that there is a huge drop-off between DII pitching and SEC pitching.
