As a Hawk fan I’m elated obviously. The game went how I expected. The rebounding of SC was unreal.

The two things that tipped the scales was early fouls on Boston not allowing her to get into a rhythm.

Clark ability to finish inside. I figured the perimeter D would be tougher and Bigs at Rim would make it tough. To be honest she had an off night from 3. She’s a streaky shooter but missed at least 2-3 that are automatic for her normally.

Great season SC, and fun game to watch. But I still believe SC wins 90% of the games these two teams play.

Ok, she was by far the best player on the floor, however she needed a lot of help beating a great defensive and power rebounding team like SC. That was a clinic the pick and rolls and passes to open teammates.

SC has a great program and will be back, coach S is great, mad respect for SCs program.

Good win. Now go on and win it all. Clark is just unreal. Honestly I'm just coming to grips that I'm putting her on the level of MJ and Kobe and Bird, etc..... 1st woman basketball player to make that jump *IN MY MIND* (just my opinion)

She's an absolute killer and a joy to watch. I'll remember her for years to come.

Wow! Just wow! What a great game. One highly athletic and huge team vs a more skilled offensive team with the best player to ever play in college. Zia Cooke and Cardoza are legit. Boston… meh. I think the 8 people who voted her NPOY should lose their credentials. Looking at the stats post game and it makes no sense Iowa won. Crazy game.

Why are you saying “take away 41 points”? Clark is on Iowa’s team. We had the best player and the best player lead her team to victory. That’s what great players do.

Anyway, not sure what point you are trying to make. CC is on Iowa’s team. Iowa has a great team this year and is peeking at the right time.

Good luck to SC moving forward, they aren’t going anywhere (I.e. will stay a contender as long as DS is the coach). Take care.

You'd have to go back several posts to understand the context of what I was saying. I was basically defending another one of our posters. I really hope Iowa wins it all. I won't be able to watch but I will definitely watch the highlights post game. (Have to work, won't be able to see the game)

Definitely pulling for Iowa. I’m not a Kim Mulkey fan. Of course, she’s a great coach as evidenced by bringing LSU to the championship game in year two. I just want to see CC carve them up the way she did us. So entertaining.

But ~ to pretend that Clark isn't a once in a lifetime freakshow, killer, assassin, deadly is just absurd. Clark *IS* Iowa WBB. Without her as someone else mentioned ya'll don't even sniff the tourney. To pretend otherwise is just asinine. As the other poster correctly pointed out and who I am defending ~ "Clark is all y'all have." / Without her, you're literally nothing.

For the 9 millionth time now : Ie: Clark, closest thing I've ever seen to a blend of Reggie Miller, Steph Curry, Bird, and MJ.

Update: looks like a fan from other posts, but "Dawg2020" is an odd handle for an Iowa fan IMHO.

I agree. I think the foul situation helped CC inside. You could see on several occasions where our bigs were in position but didn’t really challenge. I didn’t like the way the game was called. It certainly was a detriment to the way we play. But, you gotta figure out a way get past it. And we didn’t. Hope y’all win it all!

How many of you have become Caitlin Clark fans? I had a very negative view of her before we played her. She was better than advertised and won against us and lost to LSU with class. She didn't make excuses or blame the refs for the LSU loss.

I certainly found myself pulling for her against LSU (not because it was LSU)
