When the ‘S’ word (snow) is mentioned Southerners lose their collective minds. Runs on bread, milk, and alcohol…That’s all this is..A weather forecast two weeks in advance isn't exactly worth paying attention to.
I've always seen the huge runs in the grocery stores on bread, milk and eggs. When the ‘S’ word (snow) is mentioned Southerners lose their collective minds. Runs on bread, milk, and alcohol…That’s all this is..

That’s like spending a typical winter day in FairbanksWhen we flew out of Bozeman yesterday afternoon, it was -5. The temp at the house is now -16 and the NWS is forecasting a low of -40 tomorrow morning and a -high- tomorrow of -16 tomorrow afternoon. That isn't windchill or "real feel" temps, but actual air temps. Looks like we picked the right time to spend Christmas in Louisiana and, in this instance, I won't be disappointed that I'm missing a white Christmas.![]()
Except that we have at least a few hours of sunlight each day this week. That’s like spending a typical winter day in Fairbanks![]()
