You were pretty spot on and a little prophetic with this part:

"elitist" in him.

If he is hired, in my opinion he would realize after a short period of time (if not before hired) that they are a bunch of self-overvalued pricks and not get along with them in the long run at all. Best case he comes aboard, wins some games pretty quick proving that he is still a good coach and is gone to a better gig in 2 or 3 years then you are left w/ a somewhat unique system with athletes recruited to it and trying to find somebody to come in and pick it up.

I am shocked that Bruiser didn’t have the longest post in that thread. He had 2nd-7th longest but not being 1-6 was really off brand for him.
