Can we get a look at Garnet Trust's books? Or any NIL?

Garnet Trust is a non-profit 501(c)(3), which I think means their financial records have to be made public. Could be wrong on that. NIL collectives that are 501(c)(3) have to file a 990 with the IRS, I believe. From what I can tell, they are required to maintain transparency for accountability purposes as they are a non-profit entity. Would be fascinating to get a look at the books of some collectives. Don't know if we'd get to see how much individual players are actually getting.

Garnet Trust isn't a non-profit. Garnet Trust Foundation is the non-profit.

On the financial records...no idea. Good question for someone at Garnet Trust. I imagine if you donate they'd be happy to let you see that info.

Edit: I just searched Garnet Trust Foundation with the Secretary of State's charity search and there's no financial information listed yet.

ahhh, lol, gotcha. Had to figure they were too smart for that.

I see some NIL collectives are formed as not-for-profit entities. I imagine most went with for-profit status for good reason...to keep people in the dark.

Yep. I'm sure they can produce some highly summarized statement for those contributors that request it.
