Johnson doing his job!

Others are playing well.

Watched UT play a few times during the season, played close games, but took over late.

GO DOGS!

Probably left Johnson in too long but you’re danged if you do and danged if you don’t with this bullpen.

Johnson is a good enough pitcher that can’t help himself.

I don’t know that I’ve ever witnessed one of his outings where he didn’t give up a home run, and almost always an inopportune one that was very costly.

We don’t have a bullpen, but even Mike Hunt didn’t implode tonight. Johnson took care of it himself, as usual.

What are you talking about ? Preston Johnson was awesome tonight. If we had anyone we could rely on we go to them. He didn’t even make a bad pitch. The guy just made a good swing to the right part of the park. Tonight was lost because of our bullpen. The mere fact we don’t have one

I said he always gives up inopportune homers. And he sure as 17 did tonight.

I did. “Cant help himself” is not a positive comment. Nor is “Johnson took care of it himself as usual”. Dude was a beast. And we pushed him way past where he should have gone

I’m really sorry, Gene.

“Not a positive comment” is about par for the course on this board.

Seriously, are you new here?

LOL. If you have to ask you must be new. My point was Preston was awesome and you were being critical of him. Which means you clearly don’t understand what went on tonight. Not asking anyone to be positive for positives sake.

My point is my point, and you haven’t been able to refute it. He always gives up taters, and they are usually when we can least afford him. He has had a ton of amazing outings that have fallen short because of taters that come out of nowhere.

Sorry I called you Gene earlier, Rosebowl!

Of course he did and it's not the first time this year. Is anyone really suprised after again pitching a great game, Johnson's kept in a batter too long? Let Hunt handle four outs.
