Nobody expected him back this season and some wrote him off completely. His return could offset the loss of Parker.

Interesting question. I don't think he will start next season, and part of that is the talent brought in, coupled with who may or may not remain.

Tarburton is finished his eligibility (not sure if used his Covid year or not).
Isaac is listed as RS-Jr, but not sure if he is next level material or not. I know he was highly considered coming into the season.
Robinson is a beast and will get a lot of playing time. Whether he is a starter or not depends on Isaac.
Dennis-Sutton should be working towards being a starter. I think he was not an early enrolee, so he was a bit behind the others. Offseason training will do wonders for him.

So, based on that, I don't see Fisher as a starter next year. However, he should get enough action, and he could project for 2024.

Yeah he has starter potential. One skill set that he probably has that's top tier among the DE candidates is his ability to drop into a pass coverage. He showed an innate elite ability to intercept passes dropping back in coverage as a HS linebacker.
