Canes are not messing around in just about every aspect in their program.

Cavinder twins transferring to Miami.
They had a NIL deal worth 1 million, with the exposure they will get in SFla sky is the limit.

Well lets see. DJ U the number 1 high school qb commits to Clemson. Now two female basketball players who played at the powerhouse Fresno State tranferring to the ACC womens powerhouse in womens basketball in Miami. We shall see how far this takes them against Louisville and the 2 team win in Clemson who has an annual attendance for all their ladies games of 25 people. Yawn, Yawn

I'm not sure stealing WBB headlines is a thing. Are there any WBB headlines, other than who wins the national title?

Been wondering where they would land. Miami is a perfect landing spot. Good team, large city, lots of media and fashion forward.

Haley and Hanna are beautiful, business savvy and actually very good basketball players.
Haley was 3X all mountain west and this past season POY with 19ppg.
Hanna is 2X all mountain west and averaged 14ppg this past season.
They are not going to be all ACC, but they will play and help Miami. They also will make great connections for the future and grow their popularity. They just need to make sure their year there does not turn into a bad reality show. Good for them

Wow, why the hate for two young women who are making their way in the world with their, talent, smarts and beauty?? Did they call you loser boy in HS or something?

Not sure how much they are making their way by their talent, at least as far as NIL is concerned. They wouldn't have an NIL if they weren't twins and the one on left wasn't pretty hot. Athletic talent isn't the primary driving factor for women NIL deals.

No the athletic talent may not be the driving force. However if anyone portrays them as non athletic bimbos they are lying.
Their talent has propelled them. If they were bench warmers who rarely played they get maybe a local deal. UM did not sign them for their looks. Both are 1,000 point scorers and will be in the Fresno athletic hall of fame even if they looked like me

I think you're missing the picture here. 1. Miami had a pretty good team this year finishing at #8. The takeaway is that Miami has made a headline splash, and with that more exposure in the arenas and on National television. More exposure generally has a very positive effect on recruiting and on the program itself. The girls will obviously get more exposure, it's a win win for both parties.

Yes, I saw it. It's silly, though, to suggest that anything that happens in WBB makes a "splash".
Well Dawn Staley has sure made a splash and her team as a whole is raking in some NIL offers. There are some terrific WBB making serious NIL money and it's because they are basketball players and not blonde bimbos as some of the posts in this thread suggest.

SI also made a story about Dawn and A'ja joking around on Twitter in regards to A'ja talking about wanting to leave USC her freshmen year.

Did this also make it on ESPN, USA Today, Yahoo Sports, and Front Office Sports (like the other story) ?

Word of advice - stay away from the Miami Vice!

I like how they can present a frontal & rear view.

I'm curious how well they'll do in a power 5 conference. I really couldn't think of a better destination for them in terms of their brand. What they do both on and off the court will likely set a precedent as to what to expect for the future of WBB NIL deals.

Yeah, they aren't bimbos
I find it fascinating that talented women who earned athletic scholarships, excelled at their sport and were savvy enough to negotiate a million dollar deal before they were 21 are considered a bimbo by you.
Please submit your resume for what you did entering your senior year of college. Would love to compare.

Let's revisit this when we see how deep Miami goes in the NCAAT next year. To me, that's the bottom line of everything.

Good returning core.... two top 30 recruits who are 6’5” and 6’3” should be a tourney team
