Anybody else hate listening to their games on the radio sometimes? I like John and Mike, but my gosh, just call the damn game. It's like we get a game update every 5 minutes between stories.

On a positive note, hell of a start considering the injuries to the pitching staff. A win today would mean they've won all 4 series to start the season.

I enjoy Mike Shannon, John I could give or take. His "get up baby, get up get up." is as good of a homerun call as I know, although I am bias. But they only time I listen is at work when they have the daygames as they are on Directv over 120 games. I like this team. IF Mulder and/or Carp can give this team anything down the stretch we might stay in it. Our offense tends to be enemic at times but they have been getting the clutch hits when they need him. I really like Reyes in the pen along with the rook McClellen. I am looking forward to this 3 game set with the brewcrew to find out where we are.

is that IF Mulder, Carp, and really even Clement come back, then the Cardinals have some pitchers that they can use as trade bait. I'd like to see them get some better middle infielders in particular.

On that note, I'm not really expecting Mulder or Carp to be 100% when/if they come back, but hopefully they can be effective. And if they aren't, at least there are some guys that are getting the job done already.

The Orioles are going to unload Brian Roberts at some point, I would love to trump the Cubs who have been the favoites as to who would be getting him.
