He had a pretty smart father in Gilbert.

During Nassib's last year at Penn State, the one that got him drafted, my son was doing a project with a partner. He asked her if she was going to the upcoming game and she said she wasn't going and had never been to a game. She then added that her cousin was on the team but since he didn't talk about it much she didn't know if he played in any games. Well, you guessed it, her cousin is Carl Nassib and my son about fell off his chair.

Did you ask me several yrs ago to say HI to Gil, from you. Gil Would sneak down from the parent's section and set next to me in the H.C. seats next to the team if one were open. He could talk/gesture to Carl during the game. Gil really is a terrific fellow.

I'm wondering if Carl will enter medical school. That was his intention after college ball.

I never thought Nassib got enough credit for what he accomplished here in 2015. From having never started a game before that season to being an All-American and leading the nation in sacks at the end of the season. Truly, a remarkable accomplishment.
