Carson Beck ruled out for first CFP game

Why?, They lost their bowl game by 60 after not making the playoffs, last year. (Not 6 pts but lost by 60 pts)
UGA's back up QB is not trash and UGA won their conference in the expanded playoffs and if FSU won the conference this year with their trash backup QB they would of been in the expanded playoffs as the conference champ, as well.
I don't really see where they should be complaining? Don't go 2-10 in the first year of the expanded playoffs and miss it, seems like they have other things to be worried/complain about after the 2024 season.
Hopefully this years ACC Champion also loses by 60 their next game,

Yeah, I didn't see all of the game, but he came off the bench in the biggest moment possible to lead his team back for the win.
Beck was hurt on the last play of the first half. Stockton had 20 minutes to get ready to play in a huge game. I don't think he even had his helmet on for the first half, much less being prepared to go in the game.
Forgot to finish my previous post. I've heard folks say they weren't very impressed with him, but in that situation, I don't know what more you could ask for from a little used backup.
He wasn't asked to do very much. Outside of a very poorly thrown ball that was intercepted, he looked like pretty much any qb on any team. Some people are going to hate on a player because of who he plays for no matter what he does.
Maybe I'm the lone USC fan that doesn't hate UGA - but - I don't hate UGA and never have.
In fact, they are probably my second favorite team if I have to pull for somebody in any given game. I hate it for Beck, seems like a good kid - it was a wicked hit from a physics standpoint.
Same here, plus I live outside Atlanta now and have tons of UGA fan friends. They pull for us when we are playing each other as well.
I don't think so. In a 12-team situation, they would have been in there.
