Saw it on BEG Wrestling's FB page. It's not on Lehigh's official page yet, but it looks like Cenzo stepping into Sasso's vacated (lost) position.
Honestly with everyone trying to copying that psu magic wouldn’t be shocked to see tOSU make a push for an alumni soonA shoe in for Tosu
Doesn’t matter what Ryan thinks or wants. It’s what the alumni with deep pockets want. Do you think DT was John Smith’s first choice? Hardly. DT was a rich guy’s first choice. Admin will always side with the money over a retiring coach.I doubt Ryan would eat that bitter pill just like the brands boys.
I'd be shocked if they didn't promote from within. Jaggers has about 10 years more coaching experience than Cenzo.Honestly with everyone trying to copying that psu magic wouldn’t be shocked to see tOSU make a push for an alumni soon
I think Jaggers would be an excellent hire, but Stieber I believe is the one who is going to get that job. I would rather DeBoer get the job though.I'd be shocked if they didn't promote from within. Jaggers has about 10 years more coaching experience than Cenzo.
If they're going for the outside superstar hire, then it'll be Snyder or Burroughs if they want it. Cenzo doesn't have Taylor-level name recognition. Dlagnev could be an outside hire since he trained there for years, but if they're considering him, why not stick with Jaggers?
Agreed in general, though the timing might not work out that way. Ryan is 56. He might retire before Ohio State is ready to promote Stieber. I guess they could promote Stieber to CEO anyway with Jaggers remaining as COO ... but that does risk losing Jaggers, who's clearly ready to run his own program. I could see either getting the job.I think Jaggers would be an excellent hire, but Stieber I believe is the one who is going to get that job. I would rather DeBoer get the job though.
As a four time NCAA champion, Stieber does have the street cred. Would he be able to get a deep pocketed OSU wrestling fan to provide the same sort of cash flow which it seems DT now has at Okie State? That's the key.I think Jaggers would be an excellent hire, but Stieber I believe is the one who is going to get that job. I would rather DeBoer get the job though.
The question is, has Stieber developed as a coach to warrant a deep pockets guy to back him? I haven't seen that yet but maybe it's early. As a four time NCAA champion, Stieber does have the street cred. Steiber and Jaggers both deserve credit for Mendez. They also did an apparent good job getting Marcus ready to go for us.The question is, has Stieber developed as a coach to warrant a deep pockets guy to back him? I haven't seen that yet but maybe it's early.
Yes meant assistant role right now for Cenzo, definitely not a DT level, right out the the gate head coachI'd be shocked if they didn't promote from within. Jaggers has about 10 years more coaching experience than Cenzo.

Dlagnev has excellent technical coaching skills but he wrestled in Nebraska, heavyweights aren’t currently the ‘in’ college types for coachingI'd be shocked if they didn't promote from within. Jaggers has about 10 years more coaching experience than Cenzo.

Vincenzo has a DT level of national titles!!Yes meant assistant role right now for Cenzo, definitely not a DT level, right out the the gate head coach
I hope Cenzo can find a place to settle down. He has made a lot of moves since graduating from Penn State (Stanford, Arizona State, North Carolina, now Lehigh).

Speaking of motivating check out brands on u-tube. Speaking to an apparent heavy weight out in nature doing hill work. EnlighteningDlagnev is the exception. When/if he ever gets the chance to have a head job, his interview is going to be impressive and he's going to do a great job. Beyond technique, Dlagnev is the best mental coach in the game.

Do you think he is better than Terry Brands?Dlagnev is the exception. When/if he ever gets the chance to have a head job, his interview is going to be impressive and he's going to do a great job. Beyond technique, Dlagnev is the best mental coach in the game.

I hope Cenzo remains an attractive candidate for advancment opportunities, and accepts or declines them based on his priorities.I hope Cenzo can find a place to settle down. He has made a lot of moves since graduating from Penn State (Stanford, Arizona State, North Carolina, now Lehigh).

Maybe Cenzo is like a one-man locust swarm. He comes to town, eats all the pizza and meatballs, and then moves to a new town.I hope Cenzo can find a place to settle down. He has made a lot of moves since graduating from Penn State (Stanford, Arizona State, North Carolina, now Lehigh).
I take Bonnie every day for mental coach.Dlagnev is the exception. When/if he ever gets the chance to have a head job, his interview is going to be impressive and he's going to do a great job. Beyond technique, Dlagnev is the best mental coach in the game.
Come on man. I mean an actual on the mat coachI take Bonnie every day for mental coach.
Evey chance I get, I will give Bonnie a compliment.Come on man. I mean an actual on the mat coach
If Jaggers gets the job, will he stop wearing the skinny pants?I think Jaggers would be an excellent hire, but Stieber I believe is the one who is going to get that job. I would rather DeBoer get the job though.
No idea, but it is my opinion he should have retired that look a decade ago.If Jaggers gets the job, will he stop wearing the skinny pants?
Are they trending in stilwater yet?If Jaggers gets the job, will he stop wearing the skinny pants?
I do the same. Love her for her work.Evey chance I get, I will give Bonnie a compliment.
I love Cenzo. I really do and I hope he does very well in his career progression. Maybe I’m a bit envious as I recall the days of ‘professional profile photograph’ as you joined a new firm, got a new job, etc. In my day you’d don a new sport coat or tie… But we didn’t dress like we weregoing out to clean out the garage.![]()
I wish you the very best Cenzo. Signed, Jealous Old Guy.
Adding some PSU royal blood to the program should help teach the Lehigh kids to attack moving forward. It may take a couple of years, but there is a solid chance Mason Beckman won't recognize the Lehigh style any longer.Sounds like Big Kerk is joining Cenzo at Lehigh at their RTC
