We got bumped out this week which really doesn’t make sense to me. Ole Miss at 9 and A&M at 15. Seems like if we win this week the 3 of us could be in within a couple spots of each other with potentially a spot in the Sugar Bowl at stake. Maybe the committee gives us the nudge if we are 2-0 against those teams?

We are not going to the Sugar Bowl. In all likelihood its TX Bowl win or lose.

We just have to beat OM. Be best if we destroyed them.

I'll gripe about the rankings when they are finalized.

Rankings always crack me up. OM checks in at #9, and we are unranked… However, every online book I can find has the unranked team favored by 1-2 points against #9 on Thursday.

ETA: And it’s crazy how small the margins are sometimes. Change one questionable call at the end of the Arkansas game, and where would we be ranked? Maybe 15 or so? We are in reality no better or worse of a football team if that one call goes the other way, but the national perception of our team is much different.

When we beat Ole Miss we’ll have more top 25 wins than most of the top 25,

Right. Just win the Egg. I don't even care what bowl we go to. Just win the Egg.

Maybe, but it shouldn't. Auburn without Bo Nix is not the same team that played the first 10 games.

The Memphis loss is an absolute killer because otherwise I’m looking at a number of teams on that board that State either already beat or would beat. The losses have to matter though and the team has to stop the silly stuff that got them beat. Good teams don’t do that.
