Dabo was asked to make his case for Clemson being in the CFP. His response: “we had our opportunities to handle what we control and we didn’t do it.”

Perhaps. But neither team deserved to be in the playoff. Doesn't matter if you were #5 or #10. Undeserving is undeserving. At least Dabo was man enough to admit they had their chances to secure it and didn't do it. And, I like Saban. I was a little shocked at how shameless he was yesterday when Bama clearly had not earned a spot.

Promote the program. Bamas did a lot the other night. I bet a few more AD's will be promoting Heisman candidates here soon. Did you forget the CJ Spiller Heisman campaign. We tried to do it with clowney but came up really short.

Spiller's also came up short. He does quite a bit to promote the athletic programs....we supposedly got exactly the matchup and bowl we wanted after TAMU ruined our Citrus possibility. Bama's also failed.....maybe it's more effective to work the system behind the scenes instead of whining and begging in public.
