And the bottom 6 picked will rarely advance......Can't wait to hear team #13 whine about not getting in.
Yup...add in more injuries. I can see more and more players opting out if eligible for the NFL.And the bottom 6 picked will rarely advance......
Actually, I think the much more likely scenario is that the bottom 6 will pick off the occasional serious contender, setting up some real dud matchups in later rounds. We all want to see the 13-0 team play the other 13-0 team, but now we're going to see the undefeated team beat a 3-loss team in the championship game by 30 points. And the bottom 6 picked will rarely advance......
Yes, good thing that was eliminated when they expanded the filed to 64 in MBB.Can't wait to hear team #13 whine about not getting in.
Should stay it four. It works. Those lower ranked teams don't measure up. Just a run at more money. And I suppose the football addicts will have a couple more games to watch.
I get the initial reaction to the expanded format, but looking at the the end of regular season rankings from last year, that sentiment doesn't appear very sound. And the bottom 6 picked will rarely advance......
I`m all for it. Why should we put up with Clemson having a legitimate shot every year due to their weak ACC schedule. At least this way they would have to beat, what, at least 3, maybe 4 good teams to win it all? That`s more than they may play in a whole season. That`s the thing about football. With so few games, there is such inequity in scheduling at least that will even out somewhat. Why do you think Mark Stoops wants to keep the SEC schedule at 8 games vs. playing 9. Poor Mark will have to give up one of his cupcake W`s. Hell, he doesn`t even want to play Louisville. Don`t bother - I know we need to start beating them but what I said is true. And why do you think ACC Commish put an end to the playoff talks earlier when Sankey thought it would pass? Hurts the ACC`s only chance, at least at this point, to get a team in the playoffs. He hoped it would stay at 4.
