Character not an issue in NBA?

Apparently the NBA does not put any emphasis on character (unlike the NFL) when selecting in the draft. Watched majority of draft on ESPN and did not hear the word character or lack of one time by the analysts. Where in the NFL it seems to be right up ther with speed and strength. Walter Sharpe, dismissed from the two institutions that he was a member of, will now receive a check to play basketball. That is a kick in the nuts to the Charles Rhodes of the world who worked hard went to class and stayed on a team. Frustrating. Maybe Chuck can go overseas and make a name for himself. With the fall of the dollar and the rise of the euro he might be better off. Good luck Chuck.

and the NFL may talk it, but they still draft character issue players EVERY YEAR. In every league, talent it #1.
