I think the most shocking thing about that announcement was that Charlotte won the AAC sweepstakes, but then I looked at what the American is going to be in the next 2 years and I think the Sun Belt may actually be better.

The AAC is going for eyeballs (good luck with that) & the CUSA is the island of misfit toys.

The Sun Belt, Mountain West, and MAC schools all at least have some sort of institutional commonality.

Yep, after Luke was fired I remember Dick Cross on Head to Head talking about how great he was, and how Ole Miss was in on him. How things change in 2 and a half years.
