Seems like they could wait until the championship game is over and done with. He and the Notre Dame team don't need the distraction.

The Bears don’t care about the NC game. If I’m him, I’d leave. CFB will always have you back. But then again do I want that as my franchise QB….

Didn't hurt Michigan last year.

But it doesn't matter. Ohio State is gonna roll. ND has had a weak Indiana at home, QB-less Georgia and a weak Penn State. Not throwing shade at them, Freeman has done well, I'm simply saying they won't be able to handle Ohio State.

That's funny. I thought the same thing when I watched them keep winning this year in the playoffs.

True that he could always come back. But it just doesn't seem ethical that the Bears couldn't wait a few more days. However, I do believe he'll make a great NFL coach.
