The Kansas City Chiefs and five-time Pro-Bowl defensive tackle Chris Jones have reached an agreement on a five-year deal that includes $95 million guaranteed, his agents told ESPN's Adam Schefter on Saturday night.

The specific details of the deal are still are being finalized, but Jones will sign a five-year deal in which all the money in the first three years - $95 million - is guaranteed. Once the contract is signed, Jones will have the highest-ever average annual salary for a defensive tackle.

Sorry, it is a double post. I just saw it on the board.

Happy for the guy. He deserves it. His agents seem like bums, but it's hard to argue with this deal.

Damn that's a lot of money. I hope he finds a way to keep a good bit of it and do some stuff for his hometown and schools.

If Fletcher doesn't make it, he's almost certainly going to be our first Pro HOFer

Heard he's going to make a big NIL donation to the baseball program. **
