Maybe a blessing in disguise? Hopefully Boston is PO'd and takes it to her this week.

all the more reason to shut her down. I would love 11 points, 10 turnovers, and she got 6 blocked shots that she took, and 2 rebounds. only!!!!

Everyone knew Clark would win. I don't think Aliyah is bothered by this. She and the team have lofthy goals of cutting down nets. I do think our team and Dawn are mindful of the narrative some of the non SEC coaches are trying to create. The Iowa coach said this was going to be like a "bar fight". She's trying to send a message to the officials to call the game close. I hope this isn't the case. Let them play as long as it's called consistently. We are a highly skilled team that does play physical but the narrative paints a different story.

Congrats to Clark - not a fan of her on court 'antics' but she is an amazing talent and she will be a handful Friday for SC to defend

But I'm calling it now: "team orientated' AB did not travel to Dallas . She will dominate this weekend with points, rebounds, defense and will bring home the final four MVP

It is not an unfair pick. Boston was limited in her play time because of the luxury we have of depth. If she played more minutes she would have won it. That is our mantra now, give up personal goals for team goals. this is a result and I bet Boston supports it. But she sure can make it a motivating factor Friday night. I bet she will do that too.

Consistent calling, whether close or loose.

ticky tack fouls hurt both teams and makes it hard to watch. Let the teams play and develop a rhythm. Stop and go, because of fouls, is brutal to watch

I highly respect Aliyah Boston and her contributions to the Women's Gamecock basketball program; she is exemplary. But, I must say, for a number of years now it has amazed me how effective she is without ever leaving the floor (i.e. jumping). She doesn't jump to shoot, doesn't jump to rebound and she doesn't jump to block shots...amazing. This is an aspect of the women's game I do not like.

How will this game be called? I remember how this one was called, last Sunday?

Obviously, Iowa is more like Creighton. South Carolina, more like San Diego State with style of play.

State of Iowa getting hit by tornados and severe weather right now.
