This is more like if a player entered the portal after the season ended, then announcing he committed to school A, and then suddenly we see him show up at school B as the semester starts. Does not affect anything in-season.And yet people complain about student-athletes sitting out games or entering the transfer portal. How can one complain when coaches do this...
There is no denying your last comment about the pass rush.Coach Spencer seemed like an awesome dude, but after a couple years of John Scott as DL coach - I really think Chaos was highly overrated. He wasn’t a great recruiter, and while we racked up a lot of sacks under him, it always felt like our pass rush completely disappeared when we needed it most.
When he was here wasn't the philosophy to rotate regularly to keep guys fresh?Coach Spencer seemed like an awesome dude, but after a couple years of John Scott as DL coach - I really think Chaos was highly overrated. Well, that depends if he actually signed a contract or verbally agreed to a contract. We don't know that. This is more like if a player entered the portal after the season ended, then announcing he committed to school A, and then suddenly we see him show up at school B as the semester starts. Except he's an adult, and a verbal acceptance of a deal is still a legally enforceable "contract." I think it's a really bad look. Of course, didn't our new DC, Manny Diaz, accept a head coaching job with Temple and then within days jumped to Miami?Well, that depends if he actually signed a contract or verbally agreed to a contract. We don't know that.
A better analogy might be a recruit who verbally committed to school A, and then got an offer from school B, so decommitted from A and committed to B.
With the way that today's fans demand wins as if it is their birthright, I don't blame players or coaches for doing whatever they think in in their best interest.Except he's an adult, and a verbal acceptance of a deal is still a legally enforceable "contract." I think it's a really bad look. Of course, didn't our new DC, Manny Diaz, accept a head coaching job with Temple and then within days jumped to Miami?
What college sports has turned into, only going to get worse until they put in some regulations.Pretty scummy
WeLL PSU did that to Marshall when BO’B was HC. Midget was to coach the DBs at MU , had his coffee one morning had lunch at PSU , done dealExcept he's an adult, and a verbal acceptance of a deal is still a legally enforceable "contract." Are you saying a verbal agreement is never enforceable? If so, you would be incorrect.Huh? Verbal isn't legally binding for either side.

I thought he went to Floridaso he goes to the G-men for 2 years and winds up back doing the same thing (DL coach) at a lower school than Penn State. not exactly the trajectory you would hope for if you are Sean.
Yeah, agreed. What college sports has turned into, only going to get worse until they put in some regulations.
Easy google check:Are you saying a verbal agreement is never enforceable? If so, you would be incorrect.
yes, seems to be going to Florida. That is lower than PSU.I thought he went to Florida
I assumed Coach Chaos, with his ability to coach and his aptitude in recruiting, would not stay at Duke very long before moving to a bigger program, but I did not think it would happen this quickly…
Explain that. They are chasing Alabama and LSU while we are chasing OSU UM MSUyes, seems to be going to Florida. That is lower than PSU.
One year doesn’t indicate we are chasing Michigan or MSU.Explain that. They are chasing Alabama and LSU while we are chasing OSU UM MSU
Someone hasn’t been paying attention especially to MSUOne year doesn’t indicate we are chasing Michigan or MSU.
Not sure I would call Florida lower than PSU, lateral move possibly.so he goes to the G-men for 2 years and winds up back doing the same thing (DL coach) at a lower school than Penn State. not exactly the trajectory you would hope for if you are Sean.
