Anyone that knows me knows that I don't normally post rumors.

That said, this one was too juicy topass up. My insider told me four coaches were in the process of being terminated. Several on the defensive side of the ball. He named names but I will refrain from posting them.

He conveyed that the some of our prominent DL were hitting the portal but they are now staying because of the changes.

This guy has never given me bad info but take it for what it's worth. I guess we'll know something in the next several days.

That jives. Beamer has to attack this offseason like a caged animal.

I’ve heard Beamer wants to get through early signing day.
I really hope that is not the case, that just comes off as being dishonest to the recruits. I'm going to keep the coaches who recruited you, and as soon as you sign on 12/20-12-22, then I'll let them go. Starts the whole relationship on a false premiss. Never a good thing.

Conversely, brining in new staff also has the potential in bringing in players that were recruited by those individuals.

I see that. Also heard that he’s being honest with players and recruits about it. As in “there’s probably going to be some staff turnover and I can’t guarantee your position coach will be here.” I would be highly surprised if he’s just assuring them that everything is ok then going to pull the rug after signing.

I can understand that, but if you're completely upfront about it I don't see a problem.

Well, first you have to secure the replacements before you make an announcement! Also, some of those coaching targets may still be playing for something!
Plus, we need them to stay and coach in our bowl game. Oh wait……nevermind.

Process? How long does it take to fire someone?
Clemson has fired 2 and replaced both during a shorter amount of time.
Well when you trying to hire people no one has heard of before it’s got to take time lol

To be fair, Dabo doesn’t portal. So he doesn’t have that added stress. It’s way more important for Beamer to work for portal and figure the hires out later.
