Lost to ECU last night 53-29. Lost their last 3 games by a combined 145-62.. With Chadwell gone and McCall leaving, they are facing a steep drop-off.

Hated to see McCall get injured last night. Hope he's ok. Could have been serious, still might be I guess. Much as I hate to say it, watching him land the way he did certainly made a case for guys opting out a bowl game... especally if they are already in the portal. Hats off to him for playing tho.
Now I dont know who may be interested in him but I'd be having second thoughts about considering him if it were me. I'd have to know more about his health after landing on his head like that. Looked like quite a jolt to the spine (neck) area.

Yeah, it looked like it was going to be a good offensive battle till he went out. Then coastal was toast.
Well, I guess clemson can now claim to be the 2nd best team in the state. Good on them.
I Like Coastal but Like I was relaying to a friend that thought they could beat us & other SEC Teams that they were good in their Conf. but Dought very seriously that they would have won a game if playing in the SEC.
...they'd be playing some teams with a defense, while realizing they don't have one.
That defense has been torched the last 3 games, not even a healthy McCall would have helped.
App St, the other team some of our fans were nuthugging, ended up 6-6 and lost to Coastal. Like I said then, shiny object syndrome.
Winning shootouts is what they would have had to do. It was obvious they had no chance of that without their qb.
Actually, neither one of those teams was very good. I found Ken Houston's decision to go for two after their last touchdown rather notable. He had to be sending a message to Coastal when he did that about something that had happened during the game. He certainly didn't need that one additional point that late.
Remember ECU is basically the same team that USC won last year in Greenville, N.C. on a last second field goal by Parker White.
