We have won 3 in a row since then, with a double-digit road win and a 17-point win over the #6 team in the nation. Not terribly complicated.

Yep, we were in a precarious spot after UGA, losing a winnable game to go 2-2 in conference play. Season could have gone south after that with a road win at Arky, which is never a gimme. But the team responded in a big way.
Hate to say it, but we should be pulling for every team that beat us to win out until tournament time!

No. I understood fully the intent of your post, which is I responded with factual information.
That UGA game was an anomaly for sure. If anyone was there or watched it, the officials took over the game and slowed it to a crawl. Just ridiculous on both sides, but they allowed that UGA guard to flop his way to the line multiple times. Might be time for college to institute a flopping rule.

Free throw attempts for that game were even at 32. The difference in that game was they shot 78% from the stripe and we shot 53%. That included a a crucial stretch where we attempted to seize control of the game but left, what seemed like, at least 8-10 points off the board from missed FT’s. That is the reason we lost that game. Not refs.
