Won't be long before a taunting bat toss after a HR or a pitcher taunting a batter after a K gets tossed in an SEC game, it's coming!

I thought the coach acted worse than the player, they both deserved to be ejected. Gustavus Adolphus College D-3 Lutheran College in Minnesota. They won their league 26-12.

I'm good with it. These guys learn in 8U that you dont toss, throw or flip a bat behind you. You'll be called out if you do it twice at that age and the umpires will show you exactly where you can do that crap down the first base line... at your own risk.

If dude hadn't been tossed, he'd have likely gotten one in the earhole his next time up at bat, so they prevented that...

That one isn't as provocative as some I've seen.
That one was egregious, but I've watched enough commentary on this to know they are going to implement some rules for any taunting (bat flips, gestures, yelling, etc.) directed at the opposing player for SEC baseball in the near future.

That isn't a bat flip. He legit threw the thing back across the field.

THIS is a bat flip.

Bat flip? Okay.

Let's focus on two items:
  1. Taunting - unsportsmanlike. 'nuf said.
  2. Safety - be careful how you "disengage" with the bat so as not to injure anyone.
Walker's 'flip' fell into neither of the above categories.

If all players acted like adults and respected the game and the competition, we wouldn't have to enact legislation. And I would add the pitch clock as well.

Don't remember this one, Gamecocks vs Texas.
Should have been thrown out of the game though - uncalled for in the game of baseball!
