They are Pribula's and Allar's stats for this year. Most around here seem to think the job is Allar's but I think Pribula has a pretty good shot. Maybe even better than Allar. We shall see, but I'm excited we have both coming aboard.

very close. the attempts per game seem very low, and it makes QB1 having around 12 completions per game, which is almost 20 yds per completion. I am guessing the QB1 has more of a run game complimenting the passing, and QB2's team is more dependent on his passing. maybe another differentiator is the running from the QB. we have not been able to work without a QB who can run......maybe that changes, but it has been like that for a while.

Personally, I like both of these QBs. If a team gets both of these QBs, play them both. Spurrier style.

I assume you would agree that QB prospects are evaluated on more than just stats. Mechanics, arm strength, touch, ability to read defenses, poise, toughness, intelligence, athletic ability, etc.

both seem like fantastic QBs and hope that they both arrive as planned. If they are as good as advertised, we need to keep both. of course both could turn out to be overly hyped and over ranked. looking at their tapes, it does not look like that, but who know till they are here.

tOSU has 4 QBs at an elite level on their roster. can we keep 2? What we dont want to have is 1 QB that plays and is constantly on the edge of injury - and no viable player to come in. given the ease of transfer with no penalty year these guys are not sitting around. what would have happened had Justin Fields came to PSU in 2018 as a FR, instead of going to UGa? he stayed 1 year behind Fromm and then split.

I'll take the one that keeps his commitment to PSU. Stats mean nothing, since I assume they don't have a common schedule. What would be interesting would be to know how many future D1 athletes they are accumulating these gaudy statistics against.

My take has always been Allar has the bigger arm, Pribula is more mobile. I think it all depends on what route they want to go with MY's offense, and the capabilities of the WRs.

That's a good question. Medina is Division 1 in Ohio. Most likely the competition is at least good. Not sure how strong their region is though. Others here can address Central York's competition better than I can.

One thing I appreciate about both is their downfield vision, ability to see through all the motion - something I was never good at even though I was fast and athletic, I just couldn't untangle all the movement, especially when I was moving. These guys can. Allar is so prototype and getting better. Pribula is a super athlete and his completion % speaks for itself. I know I said back when PSU offered Fields back when he was still a 3 star that he would be the best QB ever to come PSU and would lift us to the next level - what a setback for PSU when he decommitted. I feel that way about Allar's arm and passing ability but he isn't the runner that Fields was but he is mobile and has good pocket presence. Pribula does not have quite the arm strength that Fields had but his vision is just incredible. Even though Allar is rated the #1 QB in the class, I think Pribula is more than a 3 star for sure in every aspect of his game. I truly hope we end up signing both because it is critical to PSU's hopes of moving to the next level. I don't think I've ever been more excited about two QBs in the same class.

I am looking forward to Pribula vs Wilson in the semi 6A playoff game. Wilson has a very good defense.

This past weekend Pribula beat a good Mannheim Twp team with two td passes and two td runs.

By all reports Pribula looks better every game. Always a superior athlete his passing is very strong in or out of the pocket. Quick release and he can make all the throws. The kid is a competitor and a leader, with coaches praising him.

BTW, PSU commit Anthony Ivey was stopped cold with no catches. Central York looks like they are headed to their second straight PIAA 6A championship game appearance.
