Manning, the top pick in 2004 out of Mississippi State, has been virtually indestructible and thus the quality and identity of his backups has been largely irrelevant.

Ya think a Boston Globe sports columnist has ever confused Michigan with Michigan State when talking about Tom Brady? We might as well give up and combine the schools already.

did this happen much before the Kang arrived in Starkville? I wonder if his persistance in calling Ole Miss, Mississippi confused people up north? Think about it, he called them Mississippi for 13 years. Who knows....

You'd think that we could have won more than 2 games with Eli at the helm. To make matters worse, Ole Miss won 10 games and the Cotton Bowl with Kevin Fant at the helm. Oh well, at least our baseball team was ranked in the top 5 last week. That will help take the sting off of our impending NIT berth. It just sucks that Ole Miss has won so many West titles lately and had that trip to the Final Four in '96. At least we don't have that embarassing rubber chicken toss at halftime of our games. Those Rebs look like rednecks when they do that. Good thing Abner is a State guy through and through.

Why is it so hard for some people to get it right? I guess you can chalk it up to their ignorant interns...

However, both schools problems will solely be on Ole Miss. Daffodils Ole Miss? Isn't there something better for you to concern yourselves with?
