I didn't discover Zappa until the late 80s when John Dibella on WMMR in Philly was holding a Zappaween party somewhere(I was still under 21 at the time so couldn't attent) and he played Zappa songs on the radio. Then I started buying Zappa Albums/CDs. I always enjoy Zappa's interviews. Saw Zappa once at the Tower but I think he was sick at that point and the show was somewhat boring except that the women folk were taking their undergarments off and tossing them on stage. I remember Trooper Ash coming to my grade school and talking about Danger Stranger and stuff. It was like almost every year in grade school. I don't remember him coming to high schools and asking for questions about Frank Zappa though. Thanks for sharing this video, it was pretty cool to listen to.

I've been a Zappa fan for 25 years, and Hot Rats is one of my favorites. I have most of his big albums. It blows my mind that The Grand Wazoo was just sitting there and I never heard it until a few weeks ago when it was reissued. It's awesome!

Zappa played the Trocadero in Phila. Also saw Metalica open for Mega Death at the Troc. It was an awesome concert venue. Right in Chinatown, great food.
