I thought it was odd they never mentioned the SEC and last year we had those SEC cutouts too. They just talked about LSU only. Hmm.
At least Iowa lost and Clark got called out for her disrespect. That’s funny.

Iowa played their best against us and we played our worst! LSU is the beneficiary - this is the end result !
We were the beneficiary before when Miss State beat Geno and we got them instead. It happens.

One point to make. When CC was doing the “you cannot see me” it was after HVL off Louisville was trash talking her.

Any USC fan who pulled for LSU is very misguided. We have just been knocked from the undisputed best team in the conference. They have the right to say that now and we can`t argue, since we lost to who they defeated rather easily. Was hoping Iowa would win but now we have to put up with LSU.
The one-man scoring show isn't old enough to be draft eligible. She's only 21. A player has to be 22 years old the year the draft is held in order to be drafted.
The irony of these posts is that Reese said she did it back to Clark because she was disrespectful. Another LSU girl also got involved and specifically said she did because Clark was disrespectful to Raven Johnson. Basically said they were taking up for them because they are still SEC girls.
Very short-sighted, in my opinion. I will abstain from stronger adjectives, although they are probably warranted for anyone who thinks what happened today is good for us.
I didn't attempt to stomach watching it. I hate that either one had to win. Our girls have been the best team in talent and class the last 4+ years even with the losses. They would beat any team during that span 8/10. We won't be favored next year, but I hope next year's team is stronger, faster and edgier. They'll take their bumps, but hope we're sitting back on top when it's all said and done after the tournament.

Speaking for myself, I EXPECT competitive games and high-level matchups in the SEC, but I want US to have the competitive advantage. That has just become more problematic.
I find the reaction to this online hilarious. Clark is a known trash talker and showboater. When she does it she gets praised for it and but when Angel does it she's considering trash. I watch that clip go around all weekend of Clark openly diminishing Raven and her countless antics on the court rather it be flopping for a foul or consistently questioning the refs and I haven't seen any backlash.
But once someone dishes back what she's done to countless others, it's now considered not classy. Either they're both wrong or we take it as normal sports banter. Sometimes it's best to stay humble so that you're less likely to be targeted from said behavior.

Cant say I've seen all that many games this year but the ones I did catch were not competive. In fact, not all that fun to watch. That probably explains why I havent watched that many. With that said, I dont see a rise in competition as a bad thing. The odds of me watching our game with LSU next year just went up.
I watched all the pregame of our match up with Iowa. The announcers/commentators were gaga over Iowa. We got very little mention. It grated me the game turned out to fit their narrative and the network had to be super happy Iowa won and their star had a great game. I did not get to see any of the game this afternoon but it warms the cockles of my heart Iowa got taken down and kicked to the curb by a margin that is inargueable. Hate it's LSU because that will present future problems for our program. LSU is going to be a factor in SEC women's basketball.
it changes nothing for us.. lsu still hasnt beat us, its up to Dawn to keep it going either way..and if you didnt think lsu was gonna be a thorn in our side with mulkey as their coach, i dont know what to tell you.. but todays game didnt change anything, although im sure you will try to tell me differently. ball is in Dawns court now either way
Clark is as big a trash talking look at me player as Reese. U never see one of our players doing the too small or rock the baby or I can’t see u motions to others….I will take the win with class approach every time.
Dawn is in the front seat, but not in the driver's seat. She could get back in the driver's seat, but only by reasserting herself. Your fourth clause - I'd scarcely call it a sentence - is a direct contradiction of what I expressed when Mulkey went to LSU - so you're really talking to the wrong person on that one.
Recruiting is great but it's not everything. Dawn must regain focus on coaching. She got so comfortable by having great players she sometimes did not have the best players on the court.
