in 2008? My knowledge is limited...mostly based on the article in the Ledger today. Or will it not matter because of our offensive schemes?

After reading about how Carroll had a bad shoulder before he took his first snap and it never got any better until this off season - I'm holding out some hope. It was also good to read about our QBs and WRs practicing a lot on their own this summer.

No dobut we have some tall, fast WR's. But can they run routes and catch....

I think the main problem with the passing game was a lack of separation for the WR's and a lack of accuracy with the QB's. The WR's were rarely wide open and the QB's not skilled enough to make tight throws. Also, we've never really been able to get the timing patterns so prevalent in successful WCO schemes.

One thing is without question: our WR corp is bigger than past years, with no one under 6 foot.

we haven't even been average for a while. It seems like we are just finally getting guys with the body type needed to compete in the SEC.

We haven't had one for several years. We have the same offensive coordinator and receivers coach. We have a lot of the same receivers and haven't really added any blue-chip prospects to the group. If somebody has any information that would legitimately give us hope in that area, I'd be glad to hear of it. Because I sure haven't heard of it yet.

Lots of question marks there.

Does Co-Eric Riley have his head out of his ***?

Can Jaymel Smith have more games like he did against Arkansas?

Can Brandon McRae actually do something in a game situation or is he a GPAA?

Can O'Neal Wilder catch or is he a cross between Ray Ray Bivines and Antonio Hargro?

Can one of the freshman step up?

Our most consistent receiver right now is probably Aubry Bell. How good this group is depends on the above questions. I have no expectations for this group until we see what happens.
