That's such a terrible opinion to have. We should always want a bid over not getting a bid. We want Purcell to be able to tell recruits "I've been there 2 years and gotten to the Tournament twice." We want a cool graphic up on CBS that shows "every school that has been to both tournaments in each of the last few seasons" and there's only a few logos and one of them is ours.

I want him to say in 3 years "I've been there 5 years and gotten to the Tournament all 5 times," not "I didn't get there in year 2 because it would have just been too embarrassing."
