We didn't have a Plan B for when Plan A obviously wasn't working. And it's not just a simple, "well, we weren't shooting well". We weren't getting any open looks either. We will RARELY shoot well if our shots are that heavily contested. If we can't make changes against WKU, we certainly aren't going to be able to make in-game changes against SEC athletes.
Some will try to write this loss off to poor FT shooting. However, even if we shoot 100% from the line tonight, we still have a garbage offensive output tonight. That's not going to cut it. We are clearly a one dimensional team on offense at this point. Maybe stout defense can get us through the rest of the season? But, I'm not feeling too confident in us being able to find ways to score enough should the deep buckets not fall.
