seem to be hiring Ben Johnson for head coach. It will be interesting to see who the Lions replace Johnson with. I've read their offensive line coach and their passing game coordinator are two of the top candidates. The Lions should be contenders next year with a veteran team. I think you hire from within if possible.

Reading is hard for some.

Anyway, Lions are losing their OC to the Bears, their DC to the Jets, and their DL coach to the Patriots. I may have spoken too soon on contenders. That's a lot to replace, and maintain their place in the NFC hierarchy. They easily could go from winning the division to last place.

Bears are doomed for a couple more years with the Vikings Packers & Detroit being pretty good teams. They aren't going to win many games against those teams. That's 4-6 losses right there.
