Both these guys mentioned we need a rule that a player can only transfer ONE time without sitting out, and then the next time they to sit out a year. That seems reasonable, but that is already the rule now. Why do we need a new rule when there is already one in existence. Since the free year has only been open since summer 2020, I am not sure we have seen anyone try for a second transfer expecting to play. I assume these coaches know there is a rule already, but maybe they are lobbying for enforcement.
