Ol' Doris did an all right job. It's definitely strange hearing a woman's voice doing color for an NBA playoff game, but she pretty much hit on everything a color man... umm.. person... should do. She didn't step on the toes or talk over the play by play guy. The stuff she said was to the point and she got it out in one or two sentences. If I wanted to ignore her I could because she was simply providing background stuff and let the game entertain the audience instead of trying to direct the broadcast in another direction. In other words, she let the game be the story and didn't try to create one. And finally, she actually had a "fan" moment or two without going beserk, which I like. I distinctly remember when CP3 got fouled at the rim and made that circus prayer shot, Doris chimed in with, "That is just ridiculous." My thoughts exactly, Doris. Well done, madame.</p>
