From Tuesday's Clarion-Ledger:
We plan to do that daily - announcing the players in random order - through July 19, until we've unveiled the entire Dream Team.</p>
I think it's a good idea. I think a better idea might be to start with their #1 player and work down just to build up suspense.

Staff writers Todd Kelly and Rod Walker have once again picked this year's team, based primarily on information gathered through interviewing college recruiters and high school coaches from around the state. To put it simply: Who do they like best?
I suppose an informal ranking could be done by seeing who's been offered and received early interest from colleges, but I don't know how accurate that would be.

As others have posted, they're being announced in random order. Also, the top 10 recruits list they do in January has different criteria. College eligibility issues can keep the best player in the state from being included in the top 10 recruits list. The C-L's policy is that if you're eligible to play HS ball, you can be a Dandy Dozen.
