Would be nice to get him back in WB for a big time game, hopefully with a good showing by us. The down side: UF has a pretty stout run D and we...well you know about our run game. If he comes, hopefully the overall atmosphere and a win would go a long way, even if we don't run well.

Didn't seem sold on TN following visit for our game at Neyland based on his comments and in fact he had positive comments on Anderson and how he was used in our running game vs TN. Also said he has no plans to revisit Bama or TN. A good visit may be all we need to get a commitment.

It's us or Bama. To me, the longer it lingers is better for us. It would have been very easy for him to just do what dad wants a long time ago. Kids generally want to make their parents happy. I think this is just as much about our staff recruiting his dad as it is recruiting him.

It does say something that he's still considering us, even though dad is putting the full court press on for Bama. I don't know if the delay favors us or hurts us. We're still apparently very much in it, though.

Basepd on Coach Beamer’s press conference. sound like we’ve an inordinate number of injuries on the ol. Combine the young ol on the squad with the incoming group and I feel optimistic about ol play improvement. It appears to me this staff has improved our roster in certain areas. I’m concerned about the dl, most especially dt .Passing on Marcus Downs, in retrospect, was a mistake now that we’ve missed on slo many dt who ended up at UGA and Clemson.

Well if you read Bama's take on his recruiting, it's just a matter of time before he commits to them. I know it's slanted and it's closer, but if he wants to get playing time sooner, rather than later, he needs to come to Carolina. Will us being that much further from home, do us in? We can only wait and see.

Wherever he goes, if he's good enough he'll play early. The days of players "sitting behind" other players due to age are long gone. With the transfer portal and good players leaving after 3 years, no decent coach is sitting players who show they are good enough to play in practice.
