South Carolina Gamecocks quarterback commit Dante Reno will compete this week at the Elite 11 Finals in Los Angeles, Calif.

Recent I would consider:

Brandon McIlwain - washout

Ryan Hilinksi - washout

Luke Doty - pending but has not distinguished himself at the position

Going further back:

Also had Blake Mitchell, who was ok. Stephen Garcia who was up and down and ultimately self-destructed.

Of course, we currently have Rattler, but that is via transfer, so I'm not counting him.

We haven't yet had an Elite 11 QB who came here, shined at the position and had a full career.

Well it hasn’t equated to success for us for the most part. Is Reno rated in the top 300 high school prospects. I haven’t seen his name mentioned anywhere else but on here.
