Finley was a lock for COY 10 days ago but with UF’s collapse DS Is the right choice.
1st team dump Staiti for Blackwell, and while Horston was the linchpin for UT She was supremely inconsistent and a turnover machine.
Hayes should be 1st team.
I’m good with all D.... there is not a player who is undeserving but Beal is deserving and has been slighted for 3 straight years

Voting for Que Morrison was based on reputation, IMO. Not saying she's not an excellent defender, but as the point guard this season she was matched up mostly against opposing point guards and not nearly as effective as last season. She deserved her second team selection for her overall game, just not all-defense. Brea, on the other hand, always guarded the opposing team's best offensive wing and usually shut them down.
Agree King. Mulkey can coach but I just don't like her for some reason. Dawn is the Gold Standard. Beal was robbed. Staiti just didn't impress me too much either.
I said on the other board that the appropriate thing to do was just name the Gamecocks the all defensive team. But it is an individual award and Cambridge and Key are very worthy and should even be considered for national honors.
BUT DAMN!! You can make great cases for Beal, Saxton and Henny. What this team has done defensively is going to be the gold standard in the SEC for the next decade or two. I know that sounds like garnet tinted hyperbole... but just look at the stats and results.
I want to play Mizzou not just because they beat us. They are the ONLY team to put 70 on us and it took them overtime to do it. I want to hold them to the 40s and crush them
LSU fans are butt hurt Mulkey didn't win COY and have put us on notice that we are about to be displaced.
Care not for the Dime Store Queen. Demeanor is offensive to me. But entertaining. She’s got a big mouth and a bad attitude I think. Obviously a good coach but I think she’s a bit controversial based on what I have read.
I love Mulkey...I think Mulkey is the Platinum Standard...she's won more National Championships...She reminds me of my fav women's basketball coach of all time in Pat Summit...LSU will be the team that gives us fits in a few years...Look what she did this year...LSU was not picked to finish 2nd in the league...
One other coach I like a lot is Neighbors at Arkansas...he is just likeable...I hope Arky does well in the NCAA tournament...
Mulkey took a 9-13 team to a 25-4 record with the same talent except Morris. I can understand them being butt hurt.
As far as being displaced..... they lose 8 seniors. I’m not holding my breath in fear

What do you mean...she has her clothes made, hence some of the jackets she wears must cost upwards of a thousand dollars...she is southern lady thru and thru...
What was Pat Summit's disposition or even Dawn Staley's?
Just goes to show that clothes don't make the persona. Southern lady? That would be my sainted grandmother, who bore no resemblance to this person. As for the other two you mentioned, if I find anything remarkable on which to remark, I'll make certain I tag you.

No thanks, I am really blessed to have learned my social skills from grandparents/parents who were well thought of in the community(socialites)...along with my Carolina and UT Law education. I'm so happy you were a product of the dime store queen, i'm sure it comes in handy in your inner circle of family/friends get togethers...I learned it through contrast.
