I don't recall seeing any threads about the Dodgers post-season exploits. The thread was created this year and I saw it, so I commented.

That it happens to coincide with contemporary events is merely a happy coincidence.

Been a life-long Dodger for 53 years now. Been to Chavez, eaten my share of Dodger dogs, still got my Kirk Gibson World Series jersey hanging in the closet. My son was even at the game in Arizona last night. But after the Dodgers wanted to be woke celebrating nothing more than a hate group back in the summer, screw'em. I'm totally fine with the choke job they pulled this year.
