I have 24 VHS tapes of memorable PSU games as well as some memorable non-PSU games. I don't want any payment for them but if someone wants them shipped, I would ask them to cover that through PayPal. They also can be picked up at my home in Hellertown, Northampton County. All the tapes are in very good shape. If you have a VHS player or would take the tapes and have them digitized, you are in luck. Here are the game opponents and years of the games: PSU vs. Alabama, 1982, '83, '85, '86; PSU vs. (hated) Notre Dame, 1982, '83, '86, '87, '91; PSU vs. Pitt, 1982, '86, '90; PSU vs. West Virginia 1982; PSU vs. Maryland, 1985; PSU vs. Boston College, 1983; PSU vs. Illinois, 1994; PSU vs. Nebraska, 1982 (the best game I ever attended outside the '86 Fiesta Bowl and '82 Sugar Bowl). Bowl games: 1989 Holiday Bowl, PSU vs. BYU; 1992 Fiesta Bowl, PSU vs. Tennessee; 1986 Orange Bowl, PSU vs. Oklahoma (good game, wrong result). I also have the following games: 1984 Boston College vs. Miami (The Flutie "Hail Mary" game); 1986 Miami vs. Oklahoma; 1987 Orange Bowl, Miami vs. Nebraska; 1991 Miami vs. Florida State. I believe the package will come in between 15-20 pounds. I will ship USPS unless you want UPS (higher cost). Once you contact me, I'll get your shipping info., calculate a shipping cost, and away they go. Thanks for posting this solution. I have VHS tapes of every nationally televised Penn State game from 1980-2004, and I have been looking to give them away rather than simply to "throw them out." Too many fond memories. Your idea of donating them to a PSU alumni group is excellent.

If anyone knows how to contact such an alumni group in the San Antonio, TX area, please let me know. Thanks.

If you want to keep a copy you can buy an av to hdmi converter and a USB hdmi capture device for about $10-15 total. Run a few software steps and you've got an HD digital copy. Works on home movies too.

Thank you for the suggestion; I had not thought of that (I'm somewhat of an IT moron). There are a few games worth watching again.
