When you see this

at the bottom of the page under "Who's online" and you want to post a new topic, think to yourself, "would posting this get me banned"?

If all signs point to yes, then by all means, post away.

Thank you.

Now if you'll excuse me, I need to make a note to check with the parents and see if my old Showtime Lakers posters are still in good shape.

Just think, if it weren't for "bannation" or "rules violation" discussion,we'd have so little to read.

to anyone who's been posting here for a while.

In my case, 5 years and two weeks.

Don't mess with HD6.
Or any others who are actual members of the original 6-pack.
The administration of the board is theirs alone.

All the rest of us are still, to this day, just their guests.
Don't violate their hospitality. Nor, ***** and moan about their rules.

It's their board.
There's no membership dues, so posters have no entitlement.

But if you use this board frequently, you should at least make some sort of financial contribution,
for the entertainment value you gain therefrom.

RCD

PS - AOTD could have caused some problems for certain members at work, not that I'm going to elaborate on that.

To clarify my post,in case anybody cares,I appreciate what the founders of sixpack have done in trying to make it a viable message board, and agree that the AOTD was a crude and sophomoric waste of time. Didn't want to look like I missed it. What bugs me is the obsession of some posters who feel the need to jump in like a bunch of barney fife's and holler "citizen's arrest" and qualify any comment or poster as being worthy to be in their space. Let's leave that up to the moderators, how about it? The first few times I posted ,some idiots thought for some reason that I was a lesbian and posted "***" after each of my comments. Still not sure what that was about. Instead of adding anything, they whine about why something was deleted or why someone was banned. Pretty boring stuff. Glad there are actually people here that apply discipline from time to time. One suggestion, there are some of us who could support this board financially, that if they are made to feel welcome, they might actually write a check. Just a thought.</p>
