so they may indict him for perjury over his statements about not doing steroids. of course fox, cnn, and the other 24 hours news sources will cover this development like a vulcher on roadkill for a few days.

why they are focusing on this **** that happened years ago and not focusing on how to keep it happening in the future.

Personally I think the **** should be legal.

Honestly, does anybody really care? I personally thought the entertianment value of baseball was at its peak during the "steriod era". Everyone did it, so it just still means Roger and Barry were better then everyone anyway... Who cares

I did see the IRS is interested in Clemens attendance at this Canseco party. why does the IRS care about that one incident?

if they suspect Canseco (or someone else) of selling steroids and not reporting it on their tax returns.

could also be some sort of pyramid steroid sales scheme....like Mary Kay for professional athletes. I bet Canseco drives the pink cadillac

I don't care about Clemens, I don't care about Big Mac, I don't care about Bonds, I don't care about any of this ****. Baseball had nothing in place to prevent players from taking roids back then. That's their fault. They do now, good for them.

The problem is all these sports talk radio hosts, sportscasters, etc all treat sports as if they are truly important, as if these athletes are ruining the integrity of some holy event. It's just sports. It's entertainment, pure and simple. We watch sports to be entertained. We talk about sports because it's fun and because talking about the things that really matter gets old. Sports are a great way to distract yourself from things like your job, bills, family, illness, politics, etc. So these guys tainted the baseball record books. Loddy freaking da.

when the scroll bar across the bottom of ESPN is telling me about jokes being made about boob jobs at some party 10 years ago, the **** has gone too far.

they are athletes doing their job to entertain me. that is it. i don't care what they effing do off of the field. if it is against the law then arrest them like anyone else. if it is giving back to the community then slap an award on them like anyone else. that is the point, they are just like the rest of us except they are doing the entertaining and i am watching.

we won't see the end of this until the gov't takes their snotty noses out of this and starts to realize that these guys are part of the entertainment industry. this is as dumb as probing into drug use in the music industry. kids look up to those people too but i haven't heard a word about the fact that many of the bands are high when they draft a song. coccain as a performance enhancer...ooooohhh now that's a story for CNN and Fox.
