These are the three early Christmas presents I'd like to see in Saturday's game (besides a win, which is obvious):

1. - A fast start for the Gamecocks. In my lifetime, it seems like Clemson almost always jumps out to a fast start in this game (remember Spiller's KO return in 2009). Just once, I'd like to see us jump out to an early lead and force them to play from behind.

2 - 4+ sacks

3 - No turnovers.

If those three things happen, I like our chances. I like them a lot.

What are 3 keys you'd like to see in this game?

I can agree with those. But I'd emphasize #1. Like I said in another thread, their fans are very worried, and it's evident by the overcompensation I'm reading about how confident they are against us because how we actually are frauds. The mental gymnastics they're playing right now makes it very clear they're not feeling very good. With that being said, I think a fast start will take fans out of it as well.

If you remember the 2022 game, Rattler had a pick-6 right out of the gate, and we still came back to win. Not that we want a repeat of that start.

And can't forget the fumble return for a Clemson TD on our first possession last year followed by a interception on our second possession.

Oh, I remember. It seems to go down that way all too often. I remember beating them up there in 2006 also - when they scored early and led 14-7 at the end of the first quarter. Or 2010 when we beat them soundly - but they still led 7-0 less than 2 minutes into that game.
